It is important to know that a product certification mark takes into account the composition and the origin of a product. Contracts and specifications indicate a level of requirements concerning environmental and/or social impact of the production methods, the conditions of use and the end-of-life product management.

Agriculture Biologique
guarantees that at least 95% of the products' ingredients come from organically-produced animals and plants, using breeding and agricultural pratices that protect the environment, natural balances and animal welfare
EU Organic Farming
The EU organic logo indicates that this product is in full conformity with the conditions and regulations for the organic farming sector established by the European Union. For processed products it means that at least 95% of the agricultural ingredients are organic.

Conformité Européenne
The CE marking is a mandatory conformity marking that indicates the compliance with EU legislation of a product, wherever in the world manufactured, and enables its free movement within the European market.
The CADR ratings were developed by Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) and are measured according to a procedure specified by ANSI/AHAM AC-1. The higher the CADR number, the more air it filters particles per minute. Consumers can use these ratings to compare air cleaners from the various manufacturers.
Bio Nach EG öko verordnung
German most renowed organic logo that indicates that the product is in full conformity with the conditions and regulations for the organic farming sector established by the European Union.
Created in 1992 in the USA by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy, ENERGY STAR is an international standard for energy efficient consumer products. ENERGY STAR qualified products use less energy, save money, and help protect the environment.
EN 71-3
European standard EN 71 specifies safety requirements for toys. Any toy placed on the EU market has to meet the new chemical requirements of the Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC applicable since July 20, 2013.
Certified flexible polyurethane foams have been independently laboratory tested and certified to be: low emission (VOCs) for indoor air quality and made without ozone depleters, PBDE flame retardants, mercury, lead and heavy metals, formaldehyde and prohibited pthalates.
Cosmebio BIO label
Cosmebio certification for organic cosmetics that contain at least 95% of natural ingredients or derived from natural sources, 95% of plant-based organic ingredients and 10% of organic content.

Forest Garden Products
The Forest Garden Products certification standard has been developed to market products derived from Analog Forestry. Analog Forestry is an approach to ecological restoration which uses natural forests as guides to create ecologically stable and socio-economically productive landscapes.
Forest Stewardship Council
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) shall promote environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world's forests. FSC runs a global forest certification system with two key components: Forest Management and Chain of Custody certification. This system allows consumers to identify, purchase and use timber and forest products produced from well-managed forests.
Global Organic Textile Standard
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognised as the world's leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres. It defines high-level environmental criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain and requires compliance with social criteria as well.
Geprüfte Sicherheit
The Geprüfte Sicherheit ("Tested Safety") or GS mark is a voluntary certification mark for technical equipment. It indicates that the equipment meets German and, if available, European safety requirements for such devices.
ICEA, the Environmental and Ethical Certification Institute, is one of the most important certification bodies in Italy and in Europe, where it operates to favour a fair, responsible and sustainable development that ranges from organic farming to other sectors.

Max Havelaar
The Max Havelaar Foundation is the Dutch member of FLO (Fairtrade Labelling Organization) International. The Max Havelaar label, the world's first Fairtrade Certification Mark, is used to distinguish Fairtrade products from conventional ones.
is an international non-profit association that promotes and protects natural and organic beauty and skin care products. NATRUE-certified cosmetics do not contain synthetic fragrances nor petroleum derived products, silicone oils and derivatives, nor GMOs complying with EU organic regulation. To be certified with the Nature & Progrès logo, products must come from 100% organic farming and contain exclusively organic ingredients, the use of fertilizers must be limited, biodiversity has to be preserved, no ionizing radiation nor GMOs must be used.
NF Environnement
French ecological certification awarded to products that have a reduced effect on the environment while offering an equivalent performance.
The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is an independent testing and certification system for textile raw materials, intermediate and end products at all stages of production. The Vegan Society is an educational charity that promotes and supports the vegan lifestyle. The Vegan logo is a registered trademark and is a symbol of the Vegan "Animal-free' Standards that appears on thousands of animal-free products.
The World Wide Fund for Nature is an international non-governmental organization working on issues regarding the conservation, research and restoration of the environment. WWF supports brands which develop innovative and energy-efficient technologies to reduce their impact on the environment.
Official seal of the U.S. National Organic Program that covers fresh and processed agricultural food products, including crops and livestock. NOP regulations also cover in detail all aspects of food production, processing, delivery and retail sale.
